Kia ora my name is Amiria - I like to keep it simple around here!
I started bookkeeping over 10 years ago, and since having my daughter, it has allowed me the flexibility to be able to keep working from home and care for her.
I set up Amiria Limited initially as a way to help simplify the process of starting your own company, and to help small businesses navigate their way through some of the admin that is required.
But since then have also found myself involved with bigger projects, such as working with Citycare developing their 2 in a Ute programme.
My background as a flight instructor helped me develop my learner-based style of teaching.
And I still use this approach, working to a persons specific needs and style of learning, however, I'm not shy to speak up if I see that something can be done in a more efficient way.
Some of my favourite quotes come from my Dad, "Prior planning and preparation prevent piss poor performance", and, "If you're going to do something, then do it right the first time!"
I pride myself on being approachable and reliable, and I genuinely want every business I work with to thrive.
Being a part of their journey is a privilege - from helping with something simple like reconciling accounts to creating entirely new systems and processes. Whatever they need to succeed - I'm here to help.

Kia ora! My name's Nicola, better known to most as Nic. I've worked at Amiria Limited since its incorporation in 2021.
I started out assisting with bookkeeping, and have now moved on to managing and helping my own clients.
I love meeting the people I work with and creating relationships with them so that I truly work as a part of their team, not just for them.
I'm a dedicated Māmā of 5 and I actively support anything and everything they do. This has led me to become the JMB Club Delegate for Hora Hora Rugby Club ("Up the H") and coaching my youngest daughters' netball team. ("TKW - Maraio").
I LOVE my job so much because it gives me the flexibility to be able to look after my clients and my family at the same time.
