Amiria Limited was established in 2021 with a simple but powerful philosophy: to provide people with the exact tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Today, Ara Tūhono Driver Training carries that exact same vision onto the road.

Our unique approach is designed so that our students build the confidence and independence to eventually continue their journey without us. We apply continuous improvement methodologies to every single lesson, no matter how simple the task, to ensure we are always hitting our three core goals:

Meet Amiria

Before stepping into the passenger seat as a driving instructor, I held senior management positions in aviation for over 5 years as a Chief Flying Instructor. That work encompassed everything from Health and Safety to Operations and Maintenance.

Today, I bring that exact same controlled and measured approach to driver training. As a mum with a knack for seeing the big picture, I pride myself on being highly approachable and reliable. I know that learning to drive is a massive milestone, and my goal is to make it as structured, safe, and rewarding as possible.

Bright white, shiny, and quick like a shooting star. Matariki is our highly responsive manual vehicle. It is perfect for drivers wanting to build ultimate vehicle control and absolute confidence across all gear changes.

“Ahu” - The Automatic Suzuki Baleno

Named Ahu by my daughter, this smooth and compact automatic is highly accessible. Ahu is our dedicated vehicle for standard automatic lessons and our flagship Ara Kōkiri course.
