Terms & Conditions – Amiria Limited t/a Ara Tūhono Driver Training

1. Professional Standards & Insurance

Amiria Limited is committed to providing safe, professional, and high-quality services. We maintain all required industry qualifications and hold comprehensive insurance coverage, including Public Liability and Professional Indemnity, to ensure the safety and protection of our clients.

2. Payment & Receipts

  • Payment: Fees for all services are payable in full at the time of booking to secure your placement.

  • Invoicing: We do not automatically generate invoices for every transaction. We can provide a digital receipt upon payment. If you require a formal invoice for accounting or reimbursement purposes, please request this at the time of booking or via email, and we will be happy to provide one.

3. Service-Specific Policies

  • A. Driving Lessons (Whangārei)

    • Cancellations: A full refund is provided for cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the booking time.

    • No-Show / Late Notice: Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend (no-show), will not be refunded.

    • Rescheduling: To prevent loss of payment, we encourage rescheduling. You may reschedule your lesson as often as required provided notice is given at least 24 hours before the booking time.

  • B. Driving Lessons (Outside of Whangārei)

    • Cancellations: A full refund is provided for cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the booking time.

    • No-Show / Late Notice: Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend (no-show), will not be refunded.

    • Rescheduling: To prevent loss of payment, we encourage rescheduling. You may reschedule your lesson as often as required provided notice is given at least 48 hours before the booking time.

  • C. Ara Kōkiri Course

  • D. Client-Provided Vehicles

    • If you choose to use your own vehicle for driving lessons, you must ensure it is road legal and, if you hold a learner license, clearly displays "L" plates. Amiria Limited reserves the right to decline a lesson if the vehicle does not meet these legal requirements. When using your own vehicle, you agree that Amiria Limited is not liable for any damage to the vehicle, fuel costs, or other related expenses incurred during the lesson.

4. Liability, Privacy & Disputes

  • Liability: Amiria Limited is not liable for personal injury, or loss of or damage to personal property sustained during our services, except where required by law.

  • Force Majeure: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, illness). We will work with you to arrange a suitable alternative date.

  • Privacy: We collect and manage personal information in strict accordance with the Privacy Act. Your information is used solely for service administration and licensing purposes.

  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to act in good faith to reach a resolution through direct communication.
